I'd always wanted to be a nurse, but I had to put off my dream. Once my kids entered college it was my turn. I passed the TEAS for the BSN but was concerned about the amount of time it would take for me to complete my degree since I was already working full time. A nurse I work with said that I should pursue my LPN. I'd seen the Herzing commercials and when I called and got information on the program, I was impressed. I believe I signed up that night for an information session! It was at that moment that I felt inspired to succeed.
It was a struggle learning to be a student again at home with three sons and my husband. There are no shortcuts in education, but it all works out in the end and it’s worth it! I might want to continue my education with Herzing’s BSN program.
